PROJECT: HOLIDAY HOUSE
LOCATION: CYPRUS
A holiday home for relaxation and festive mood. The interior reflects the culture of the island, but it is not a traditional Cypriot interior.

The walls of the house are covered with simple cement plaster. In order to give the necessary shade of colour, the coating was made on the raw plaster. This technique refers to the formerly common method of finishing the walls of dwellings, which is typical for Cyprus and Greece. But the materials and the way the coating is applied make the coating smoother. And this emphasizes the modernity of space.

The small bedroom is a children’s room and a guest room at the same time. It is designed to be comfortable for both a child and an adult.

The bathroom is separated from the bedroom by a glass partition, which makes it possible to visually create more space in a small room.

Built-in shower system with Rainmaker function, fresh flowers, sunlight passing through windows. It all makes it feel like a summer garden. Additional colors of warm sun in textiles and cypress needles in the bed decoration maintain that impression.

The big lamp by the bed is a reference to the columns of Greek and Cypriot ancient temples.

The living room is decorated with traditional colours for Greek culture: light, natural white, grey and sandy.

The calm, balanced space allows you to relax after being in the bright sun, and does not distract from the main color focus on the garden.

The kitchen is located in a separate room, but it is combined with the living room. It helps to move through the whole space easily, when the time to gather around a dining table with your family has come.

The storage system is places in the high column-like cabinets. The main working surface is the island. It is the center of attraction in this space. It is equally convenient to cook or taste food at it.
In the large bedroom, everything is conducive for rest and relaxation.

The color scheme and texture of the walls repeat the decoration of the living room. It is the same natural light colour range. But a bright marine color appears to add expressiveness to the bedroom.

The bedroom uses designer lamps made in the macramé technique, which is a symbol of traditional women’s handicrafts of the so-called Lefkara lace embroidery.

The colored glass of the sliding partition separating the bathroom creates the effect of clear blue water. The bathroom itself is a small spa.
